5th Grade English is working on writing paragraphs.  They are practicing writing a topic sentence,  3 detailed sentences, and a conclusion.    They are using nouns, verbs, adjectives, and pronouns correctly.  They are also using correct capitalization and end punctuation.

5th Grade Science/ Social Studies/ Life Skills:
1st and 2ed quarter we covered a lot of social studies and life skills.
3ed and 4th quarter we will be covering science and life skills.

We will be covering Solids, Liquids, and Gases.  We will also be covering Minerals, Igneous, Sedimentary and Metamorphic Rocks.  We will also be covering and making a Volcano.

Life Skills - We will be practicing our address.  Pete The Cat has a Valentine Book.  We will be mailing Valentines.
